Dis. clothing out from the surf coast australia

Dis. Clothing is the evolution of Geelong based artist Geordie McDonald’s creative expression.

Geordie’s visual artistic expressions stem from frustrations with rigid social structures built for neurotypical people, which in his own experiences fight and fear personal authenticity, lateral thinking and expression.

Often reflecting his passions and interests in counter-culture movements, skate culture, punk rock and horror media, Geordie found his artistic expressions and visual social critiques were a good fit for his other passion in apparel.

Dis. Clothing was born from the way societial structures describe those who operate against the grain. People who challenge the status quo, the standard operating procedure, or the motives behind a movement will find themselves labelled: Disruptive, Disengaged, Dissonant, Disenchanted, Disrespectful, Disinterested, among other things.

Dis carries these labels given by those unwilling or unable to understand our way of thinking, and wears them as a badge of honour.
